You are biddding on an original 1960 Chevrolet Impala Convertible. TITLE. The car is a complete car for restoration. It's hard to find one left in the wild. This car, according to the seller was owned by the Arkansas Governor that Bill Clinton defeated to become one of Arkansas's youngest Governor. According to the seller, it was owned by Governor Orval Faubus. He was Governor from 1955 to 1967. He was from Hot Springs, ARK and this was where he bought the car new. He traded it back in in 1963 and was bought by the 2nd owner and that is where the current owner bought the car from. This big block car is white in color. There is rust in the body and floors. The top bowa are there and interior that needs restore. The car is for FULL restoration. It has the original 348 V8 with automatic transmission according to the seller. The car was sitting in a garage for a long time and then pulled outside. The current owner had been following the car for years and finally purchased after it had been sitting outside for a while.
