Donated by: Gilbert Vust, Portage La Prairie Auxillary Engine Drive donated by Sylvestor Johnson of Little Rock, Iowa. Details: this Baler #5390 is an early 1948 model, the first year of full production (99 43) machines. Of the 78800 Roto Balers produced, 70% wee like this machine. This unit is equipped with every option available in the catalogue. This Baler has two unique features: aluminum hay conveyor and a welded channel iron axle. Material shortages after WWII necessitated these improvisions.
